UNEXPECTED

Loosing sleep for days...

Thoughts of the intricate nature
of his love and the
delivery of his affection
keeps me awake till
sun rays announce the birth
of a new day

She's afraid he...

won't let her in

... Not An Option..!

Soothing droplets of morning dew
brings along a sense of something new
atonement for the heart
stirs up revival from depths within a tired soul
feelings long forgotten, now keen to renew

soothing droplets of  refreshing dew
still, its not an option to
relinquish my desiring heart to you
I will be content to be forever friends
for I cherish the intricate nature of you

CROSSROADS...!

Heart, head, mind and soul
embraced the signs that were
evident for all to behold

Feelings and emotions
were sure of the experienced  essence
only to realise it's been breaking
through shadows, the very outline
that announced its delayed presence

Heart, head, mind and soul
arrives at the crossroads
of love unknown.

Silent Plea...

Her heart screams loudly
without releasing a sound
It pleads for the love that
comes with his promised presence

In anticipation she yearns to
experience 'THAT' gift of sacred
unity, wrapped in total belonging

66 Bags of Seeds...

He reaches for the bags of seeds
thoughts on the day's desired harvest
what he hopes will be the yield
when he sows some seeds in earnest

On the old wooden table, like his father used to,
he arranges the bags and sits on the aged wooden stool
whilst remembering the results of past planting seasons
he and his family recently lived through

66 bags of miracle seeds
impregnated with manifestations
of desired results for all to see
awaits to be planted in love and faith
wrapped up in pure and simple believe

Wisdom Calling...

Conjure up a need
a hunger from within
Expand your minds
enlarge depths of your hearts
making room for the power of clarity

She makes her presence known
sends constant invitations to
every mind, spirit, and elusive souls
souls, stuck at cross roads
weighed down by strongholds

She pleads for ears to acknowledge
the urgency of her call to visualise,
learn and embrace the counsel of the
one who knows the answers to it all

Break Free...!

In restlesness I break off it's yoke
Arise, I cast off its heavy load
never to give it a chance or hope
slothfulness, no longer a stronghold

Your WILL Lord, I am resolved to do
Move my limbs in the path set out for me

Encourage my mind to focus solely on you
Strengthen my arms to produce goodness
that exhibits and glorifies the nature of you

WILL TO TRUST

Oh! How I encourage my heart
to resolutely trust in you
when it does not understand
the roads it's travelling through

How I plead my Heart to help itself
to entrust in the Father’s proven faithfulness
Heart of mine can you comprehend
a God with unquantifiable abilities?

Oh! How I WILL and MUST comprehend
that you are the fountain of possibilities
established through centuries and
proven throughout eternity

Everything...

For love I searched
within the winds that
propels my daily existence

...then I envisaged you as
the rhythm orchestrating
my pre-destined living

I picture the reality of you
the foundation that keeps
me forever believing love is you
Love is everything

Reflection...

To be a reflection of Him
is what my soul requires

To breath the air He freely gives
is what my spirit yearns to be forever real

To understand the intricacies of who He is
is the beginning of knowing Him

To be drawn into the midst of His presence
unravels the truth and purity of His love

Monday, 12 October 2009

...and then I call Him my....

... and then I call Him my king
because He crowns my heart with
the full richness of His ever increasing love

... and then I call Him my peace
because through the knowledge of Him
I am still and rest assured in His proven abilities

...and then I call Him my joy
because my heart skips in tune
to the beat of obedience,
in rhythm to His perfect will

... and then I call Him my future
because my dreams and aspirations will be
birthed through Him, everything
I am to become, is moulded by the
words He has already spoken over me

Not Impossible For Love...

It is impossible for love not to hear us
when we passionately invoke its very presence;
daily and consciously, with hope resting on
raw expectations calling for its true,
pure and perfect visitation

It is impossible for love not to desire to rescue us.
Rescue us, from self imposed constrictions;
constructed walls of loneliness, that surround and separate us
The soul must keep pushing towards completion
breaking forth and forging through all limitations

It is impossible for love not to want to lend its patient ear
For cries of its wondrous fulfilment, seeps from the
depths of the very soul; without the vessel uttering a
single word, of its desire for Love's rescue
to be complete and for its gift to be bestowed.

I Hoped To...

I tried to write a collaboration of words on this page
to help you visualise your love through my eyes
what could, should and hopefully might or will be
If and when you gift me with your heart

I wanted to present something on this page
to unravel the intricate nature of Love's lifeline
A llifeline that could, might or will commence, if
hopefully, you eventually, link your heart with mine

I aspired to lay bare, a silent a poem on this page
a piece impregnated with words, carefully woven
together with the sole purpose of invading your
subconsciousness, creating visual representations
of the shape, nature and desires of a hopeful,
yet, unknown beloved...

When I say...

A few friends are getting married and I have been wondering about those two words "I DO" that will be said on that fateful day. The words that seal or close the deal. The words that ends singleness, that gives the final "Go ahead" or "Permission" for "two to become and live as one". I sometimes wonder what goes through minds when they say utter those words "I DO".

When I say I do
I am saying "I Love You"
in totality, honesty and truth
devoted only to you

When I say I do...
It means every breath I take
will be to inhale the essence of you
encouraged by the love I have for you

When I say I do...
It means my life will be a testimony
to the love, I have been favoured to find in you
Its covering will be my daily experience
It's meanings engraved within my existence

Renewed...

Like flowers filled with morning dew
my heart, with time, is refined
re-built, reshaped and renewed

Ignited with strength and life,
ready to experience love anew

Reluctantly riding on the
wings of patience, I am
encompassed by his essence
intrigued by his love’s ambiance

Eager to experience conversations in earnest
about my love… real love, unselfish love,
unadulterated, pure complex yet simple love;
residing within the walls of my existence
poised to distill its untold richness
in the midst of his gifted presence

Dreams, Hopes, Aspirations...

Dreams, hopes, aspirations
desired manifestations
of promised situations
so near, yet far away

Frustration resides
for time seems to slips away
one tick, one tock, on day a time

But a whispered prayer
of hope and faith, anchored in believe
propels the uproar of renewed visions,
dreams and decisions, making way and room
for the reality and manifestation
of impossible situations

Dreams, hopes, aspirations
desired manifestations of promised situations
so near, yet seemingly far away,
but soon to be a tangible reality

I Miss...

Staring into the far, yet near distance
I envision situations not yet experienced
My senses are alive with thoughts of you;
who you are, where you are, if you are near or far
My senses are alight with the knowledge that
somewhere, you are very much in existence

I miss being a two, for its lonely being a single one
Where are you, my appointed someone?

I miss his daring, yet knowing stare
you know, the one that pierces through the soul
holding my heart spell bound within its hold

I miss being him and he being me
Like I miss being a trinity;
Him, me and the holy spirit right there in between

I miss being his silent strength
when all he has is gone and spent

I miss the essence of his kiss
that transforms everything around me
into a welcomed faded bliss

Being one, can be lonely and sometimes not much fun
So, daily in anticipation I look forward to the day
he comes into view, to the day I meet my very own someone
